How much does a subscription cost?
$20 a year. Think of it as the price of five large lattes. Or five cents a day. Or almost nothing, frankly. If you’re in the UK, it sums to about threepence a day. We do not auto-renew by default, although we provide the option if you’d like to.
As a subscriber you enjoy unlimited use of the site; you can save recommended articles directly to Readability, Instapaper or Pocket; and you can access our private RSS feed.
Can I buy a subscription for my school/college/library/other institution?
Of course. Just send us an email.
Can I buy a subscription for a friend?
Yes! Please visit this page.
Is my data secure?
Your card details go straight to our payment services, Stripe or PayPal. We don’t see or retain them.
What sort of information does The Browser store about me?
Why is my card company warning me about a ‘foreign’ transaction?
We’re based in the UK, so our accounts are held here. This causes some card companies (Amex, for example) to notify you of money leaving the country.
(American Express card holders, please use Paypal)
