Revisiting a 1961 psychoanalytic text: Narrative of a Child Analysis by Melanie Klein. The book tells the story of her treatment of a ten-year-old evacuee, ‘Richard’, in the Scottish Highlands in 1941. The child was, understandably, fixated on the war and killing Hitler.
