Here's Ian Hislop on his much-mocked decision to keep Private Eye as print only, which seems astute now: "My strategy has always been to resist all developments and technological ‘improvements’ and just carry on with print, because it’s a better vehicle for conveying ideas – and a really good platform for cartoons.
